Casual Day is just around the corner again as we head into the much awaited Spring Season when all is warm and everything starts anew. Casual Day is as they call it a FUNdraising project benefiting persons with disabilities. Each year they encourage South Africans to dress differently on the first Friday of September and to wear the Casual Day sticker to show their support for disabled people. With tickets at a cost of a mere R10- showing your support is really simple and fulfilling. Last year they managed to raise an outstanding R17,7 Million! Casual Day’s aim is to not only to raise money but to raise awareness about persons with disabilities and create opportunities for community support and corporate comradeship.
