Symphonic Rocks
Category: Events
Symphonic Rocks took place at The Grand West Casino on the 21 Aug, the thousands who were lucky enough to get tickets before they were sold out would agree that something as spectacular as this should become an annual event. With the likes of Flat Stanley, Louise Carver, aKing, Gang of Instrumentals, Craig Hinds of Watershed, Ard Matthews of Just Jinjer and Theo Crous of Springbok Nude Girls who would expect anything less than a night of pure aural pleasure. . . each artist performed their hits in an unusual way backed by an incredible 65 piece orchestra. Being the brain child of Andy Mac (Flat Stanley Frontman) he surely must be proud of putting together an incredible night that was treasured and appreciated by so many, the opportunity to see one’s favourite local pop group in an unusual performance is something that will be remembered for years to come.
